Dr Whidborne Retiring as Senior Partner
On Friday 30th June 2023, Dr P Whidborne will be retiring from his position as Senior Partner at the surgery. Dr Whidborne has been a highly valued member of the partnership and Senior Management Team since 1996 (27yrs!!!) and although we support his decision he will be sadly missed.
As well as leading and guiding Broomfield Park Medical Centre through significant changes across the NHS in his 27yrs, he was instrumental as the clinical director for mobilising the Primary Care Network Unity and has held and still holds senior positions in the Local Medical Council.
Fear not to all those patients who love to see Dr Whidborne, he will be retuning as a salaried GP for Monday morning, Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
On behalf of all the staff at the surgery we wish Dr Whidborne a happy and health (semi) retirement.
