How Do I....
Obtain Repeat Prescriptions?
Please present the right-hand side of your prescription when requesting a repeat.
Please provide reception with your name, date of birth, contact number and the first line of your address in order to request your log on and password for use with our online prescription and booking service.
Emis appointment booking and prescription ordering service.

Emis
is an online prescription ordering service. Patients will need to pre-register
for use of the new service via Broomfield Park reception before being able to
place their first order.
Medication Reviews
In order for GPs to prescribe safely and ensure that all medication is still
appropriate, patients on repeat prescriptions will be contacted for regular medication
review.
Pathfinder (for repeat dispensing)
If you regularly obtain repeat prescriptions from the practice and find it inconvenient
to arrange for collection of the necessary paperwork, then Pathfinder may be
just for you. Pathfinder is a way to obtain your medicines without asking your
doctor for a prescription each time.
Once you have signed the repeat dispensing agreement your doctor will issue
you with up to a year's supply of prescriptions. You can either keep these forms
in a safe place or ask your pharmacy to look after them on your behalf. (You
will need to use the same pharmacy each time you collect your Pathfinder prescriptions.)
Please ask your doctor for further details on this time-saving scheme. When your
Pathfinder needs renewing you may need to see the doctor - please ask at reception.
You cannot order Pathfinder prescriptions via your pharmacy.
Drug Switches
From time to time you may notice that the brand of the drug you have been dispensed
has changed. However the actual drug is still the same. This is a City-wide agreement
to enable cost savings to be made without affecting patient care.
