HISTORY OF THE PRACTICE

The practice was established in 1905 by Dr Ernest Kenderdine at 19 Queens Road. In 1965 two Kenderdine practices, one in Queens Road and the other in Earlsdon Avenue, combined and moved into purpose-built premises at 5 Albany Road. Today the business is known as Dr Durr and Partners.

Dr Durr joined the practice in 1995, Dr Whidborne in 1996, Dr Majevadia in 2001 and Dr Green in 2002.

In 2001 we moved into our new building and became known as Broomfield Park Medical Centre. Patient facilities are all on the ground floor. Reception is equipped with a hearing loop for the benefit of the hard of hearing. We are located half a mile from the City College, Junction 7 off the ring road, close to the City Centre, Earlsdon and surrounding areas. There is a free car park for patients visiting the premises - please ensure that you park safely in the designated spaces. (Please do not park in the residents’ car park beyond the main gates.) There is pedestrian access from Broomfield Place as well as Spon End. For security reasons there is no external post box on our premises.
